Digikam export slideshow as movie file?

That would be the way I prefer: I'm not doing any diaporama's, so for me, adding that 
functionality within digiKam means more features that I'll never use. But all those (build-in) 
features have to be maintained, by the digiKam team...

So if there's a possibility to use an external program to (in this case) make a diaporama from 
files selected within digikam, then that means less work for the digiKam developers, and more 
choice for the users.
