I don't remember having to manually install kipi-plugins before but that worked. I thought it was a dependency of digikam.

Thanks

Jon

I think you need to install kipi plugins. For digikam5 I think the package name is kipi-plugins5
In appimage 5.7.0 I have kipi-plugins: 5.5.0 and Libkipi: 5.2.0

I'm seeing the "export" menu completely empty on two of my Linux PCs (both are Kubuntu Xenial with the main kubuntu-backports PPA).

I've removed digikam and re-installed it. It makes no difference.
I've done apt-get purge digikam and re-installed it. It makes no difference.
I've looked for configuration files in my home directory and removed anything suspicious. It makes no difference.

Running digikam from the console doesn't show any mentions of 'export' in the output.

Running digikam under 'strace' shows failures to access an icon 'document-export.svg' but that's it.

I don't think I can try the philip5 build of digikam as the xenial build of that is still on 5.5.0 and I can't get it to replace the version from the main kubuntu-backports PPA.

Has anyone else seen this?

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Jon
