Digikam 5.4.0 won't start on Windows

First of all, I never used DK V4.x. I started with DK V5.0.
I had the problem with the change from V5.1 to V5.2.
And yes, I confirm that I never had an application startup hang after I did
the cleanup.

@Andrey:
Because digiKam was my first cross-platform application, I searched my
complete disk for KDE and digiKam.
Another source was a list of files which Gilles provided:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364258#c10
With this list I was able to identify all digiKam files and delete it.
