Mac issue - reloading photos

Disappear from where ? Thumbnails, preview, editor canvas ?

Which digiKam version do you use ?

This can be a problem with open files limit from MacOS. Here with recent
OSX and using digiKam 5.x, the problem is no reproducible anymore (MacBook
pro 2012)
