At home :
- Linux Mageia 5.1 for production, Mageia 6 (cauldron) for devel.
- Centos 6.8 for AppImage build process (32/64 bits), into VirtualBox.
In my office (i work in huge French Scientific research center, about
Energy) :
- Mageia 5.1 for desktop, compiler, front end applications.
- CentOS 6.8 for servers.
The KDE integration in Mageia is just the best that i know.
In my office we have been forced to use Ubuntu to run specific drivers
about high speed acquisition device. It have been a pain to install, to
setup, to use (outside the driver installation which touch the arcanes of
the system). Never talk to me about Ubuntu, it just a waste of time...
I tested, OpenSuse. Not too bad at all... KDE is well integrated.
