How to generate Lut3D tables?

Hello,

Since it's possible to add custom Lut3D tables to digiKam, I wonder whether
it's possible to generate digiKam-compatible Lut3D tables? I use convert
hald:9 hald-9.png command to create Hald-CLUT tables, but they look
different from Lut3D tables that come with digiKam.
