Digikam 5.2.0 and moving to existing files/folders

When moving files or folders that already exist in DK5.2.0 I get the messages that a file or folder already exists and than stops. 
In DK 4.12.0 when I do the same it just asks to write into the folder and replace/overwrite existing files.
The latter is actually the process I would expect in DK5.2.0 as well. Is there a reason why the process changed?
