printing info with pictures

I am making a visual inventory of household possessions.  Is there a way 
to print information with each photo? I have experimented: entering 
captions and titles in the Description boxes, in addition to renaming 
the photo as I usually do.  When printing I tried specifying Image file 
names and Comments, but only the original name shows up.

I am running Digikam 2.5 on a Ubuntu 10.04 OS.

Grateful for any comments or help.
