[Digikam-users] Digikam under Opensuse misses geotagging/maps & hoping for suggestion of an easy way to set albumdates

I've installed digikam under Opensuse. Still the pictures are marked as 
geotagged, but there is no geotagging option. Also both in the left and right 
side the map icon is missing. Is there a way to fix this? I tried to install 
Digikam under windows and there it is, but I want to be able to use it in 
Opensuse
Also, as others also have pointed out, there should be an easy way to set 
Album dates to the first/average/last picture date without going into every 
album. What is worse is that the album date is lost if you install the 
collection on another computer. I have found a sollution by copying the column 
with the dates in the datebase to the new datebase, but to do this you would 
hae to know dataprogramming.
