Dear all,

I'm running into a weird problem with digikam. I've been using Digikam
for years to manage my photo collection.
Last week I moved my collection into my owncloud in order to be able to
sync all photos nicely between my laptop and my server.
Since my collection moved location on the laptop, I thought it was best
to import them from scratch into digikam.
I deleted the database and tried to import my photos again from the new
location.

But the scanning process halts at 41%. (This is the scanning for new items)
What ever I try, I can't get my collection imported anymore. And this is
the same collection that worked previously. Just in an other directory.

When starting digikam from the commandline there is quite some feedback
in the terminal. The last lines are:
The file contains data of an unknown image type
digikam(3683)/KEXIV2: Cannot load metadata from file (Error # 11 :
/home/bert/ownCloud/Home documents/photos/private/ringtones/warning-the

Not sure if these errors are relevant. Is there a way to get more
detailed logs?
Any other ideas what this could be and how to solve this probem?

Kind regards,

Bert Haverkamp
