[Digikam-users] digiKam Software Collection 4.4.0 is out...

Hello Christian,
some weeks ago a made the following steps to update sqlite on my Linux
Mint 17 (which depends as well as your Kubuntu 14.04 on Ubuntu 14.04):
1. Download the packages sqlite3 [1] and libsqlite3-0 [2] from the
upcoming new Ubuntu version 14.10, "Utopic".
2. Save both .deb packages in a new folder.
3. Call in the folder: sudo dpkg -i *.deb
After these steps, my sqlite was updated, which prevent digiKam from
crashing all the time.
