I use exclusively my Epson R3000 wirelessly without any obvious issue.

Except a misunderstand, Epson driver are LGPL licensed, which is better than commercial turboprint, in my opinion.

As far as I am aware very few if any of the Selphy Canon printers work
properly with Linux. I have a wireless one and although it can be made
to print under Linux it does not do it properly. For that I use Windows
7 under VirtualBox or I can either connect a camera directy to it or put
the SD card in the slot.

I also have a wireless capable Canon IP7250 and I use Turboprint to
print under Linux which I find much superior to the standard Linux
drivers and it also works wirelessly using Turboprint. The only downside
of Turboprint is that it is commercial but in my view very well worth
the money. I used to have an Epson R800 which is a great printer and
supported by Turboprint. Sadly mine blocked its jets and was not an
economical repair.

I must stress I have no connection with Turboprint other than being a
very satisfied customer.
