[Digikam-users] try to give a try to 3.5 and 4.0 but... count 0

Hello,

I have a lubutnu 13.10 w digikam 3.4 slightly outdated but as I want to
push a bit more, I gave a try to source compiling (
http://www.digikam.org/node/621) w 3.5 tarball and 4.0 git (beta3).
compilation was fine (kde 4.11.3). (just try to 'git pull' to check tree
was up-to-date and nothing more)

Problem is with my 3.4 database/working in 3.4, be it with 3.5 or 4.0,
digikam starts, doing the first scan of the tree, get the main window
interface, finish secondary scan (end of active process) and all my album
pictures count are still at 0...

In console digikam still say "total scan value: 149970" which should be the
right number.
F5 does nothing
and asking maintenance get on https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=326959
Of course, if you ask album in file manager/terminal, files are still there
Rebuild thumbnails in current album does nothing.

getting back on 3.4, I can browse my images again, so where is the deal?
How can I try latest digikam?
