[Digikam-users] DigiKam on Linux Mint 13 Mate (64)

DigiKam looks great. Unfortunately, after installing on Linux Mint 13 Mate
it does not run.

Judging from similar comments scattered about on the web, this seems to be
a common problem.  Is there a solution?  If not, please provide the
location of log files I can investigate to troubleshoot.
