[Digikam-users] digiKam - kde performance at win 7 64 bit

Hi folks,
 
actually a evaluate this great software. I use this programm at windows 7,
64 bit, 8 GB RAM, AMD Phenom II x6 and i get a poor ui performance:
 
+if i choose menu from settings it need over 10 seconds to show me the
settings windows. 
+ or if i choose the import > folder this need over 60 seconds to open the
folderchooser
 
I dont know the digiKam ui performance under native kde. So what can i do to
improve this digiKam ui performance?
