[Digikam-users] I am having issues in Edit

I have recently updated my openSUSE 12.3/KDE 4.10.5 machine to DigiKam 
3.3.0.

I find that frequently the Edit-Enhance-Local Contrast tool hangs or 
fails to initialize.
I see no progress in the lower left corner of the window.

Interestingly, Local Contrast runs fine on the same image using the 
Batch Queue Manager.
And, I believe, it runs much faster.

Any thoughts or similar results?
