Thanks Marcel for clarification.

I guess I now understand the point of view of "automatic versioning".

Now, playing around, I found the sidebar "versioning" and this makes it 
much clearer to me. I also clicked on the info-buttons in the settings 
and must confess that everything is explained very good and clear. Must 
have been a hell of work to make this working!

So its my fault that I got confused. Sorry.

I was just updating my system and went back to work. Not finding the 
originals in the album anymore looked to me like a bug and I couldn't 
explain it...
