[Digikam-users] digikam and gimp solution? help needed

yes, I also remember having seen a pretty long thread about this in 
this mailing list.

I think this is a kde problem, in fact, not digikam one.

Looking at this I may have found a solution, almost partially.

In the kde configuration, second line, you have a module "shortcuts 
and gesture".

Contrary to the digikam version, this module have an "edit" button at 
the bottom that allows you to enter a global shortcut.

For example I could add "gimp" to "Alt G".

Where I need help is to add the option to make gimp open the digikam 
selected photo (if possible). Right now it only opens a free window
