It crash in Geolocation search view. Sound like a component as libkgeomap
or marblewidget dysfunction.

marble globe viewer working fine on your computer. I remember some problem
with marble shared widget used in digiKam if marble maps data are not
installed.

I tried the KDE 'marble' globe viewer installed under MacPorts and that is
working fine (it starts and I can pan/zoom maps etc).
Libkgeomap is installed and looks to have been rebuilt yesterday too when I
updated MacPorts.

I don't know if that helps or not!
