[Digikam-users] 'Lost ' Raw Thumbnail

Something unusual .. and rather alarming!
After editing an image in Digikam the edited png file correctly appeared
in the album but the raw thumbnail/placeholder was not to be found.
Tried ' rebuilding album thumbnails' this did not help. F5 also.

Was able to find and open the raw in darktable, rawstudio and gthumb,
all correctly.

In the file browser the file is indicated but only as a unfilled
rectangle (no thumbnail?).

I suspect that the thumbnail has been trashed ... any ideas out there?
