[Digikam-users] How to work with AVCHD videos?

Looks like ffmpeg is my friend here:
ffmpeg -i input_file.mts -vcodec copy -acodec copy output_file.mp4
seems to do the trick, and give me files about the same size (slightly 
smaller) and quality (as far as I can see) which digikam can see and 
smplayer can play.

So I just have to modify my getpix script again.

Last question: does anyone know how to hack on kde so that when you plug 
in a memory card and kde pops up a dialogue asking what you want to do 
with it, that you can add an option to run your own program (i.e. getpix 
in this case)?
