Well to all those considering getting the book I can confirm that I can
read it perfectly using Calibre on Linux and CoolReader on my Android
Smartphone!

Certainly looks an interesting read which I now need to settle down to!

The book's official page is http://scribblesandsnaps.wordpress.com/digikam-tricks-book/ which is mirrored at digikam's website (http://www.digikam.org/drupal/node/543). The book also has a dedicated page in the Amazon Kindle Store (http://amzn.to/digikamtricks) If you have an Amazon Kindle reader or Kindle software installed on your machine, you can buy the book via Amazon. Alternatively, you can buy the book via PayPal. In this case, you'll receive the book in the EPUB format which you can read on virtually any platform, including Linux. Being a Linux user myself, I recommend using Calibre (http://calibre-ebook.com/) or Cool Reader (http://coolreader.org/e-index.htm) to read the book. I tried FBReader, but I encountered some text rendering problems.
