[Digikam-users] Loads collections only at second start.

Using DK 1.2 in Mint9-Gnome (based on Ubuntu 10.04).
Digikam fails to load collections at first start after reboot ,though it
loads successfully at second start. This is happening since @ 15 days.
Terminal shows-

j at j-desktop ~ $ digikam

QDBusConnection: name 'org.freedesktop.Hal' had owner '' but we thought it
was ':1.45'

As per displayed window,marked collections as removable instead of local,but
no difference.
Purging and reinstalling Digikam didn't help.
The collection path (at configure digikam>collections) is not visible after
1st start and is OK at restart of DK.
Any clue please?
