[Digikam-users] Digikam refuses to open a .jpg photo

I don't understand what's going on: I have a .jpg photo, that has been
created with Gimp/UFRaw from a .CR2 photo and Digikam refuses to open it,
saying "Impossible de se connecter à l'appareil photo. Veuillez vous assurer
qu'il est connecté correctement et sous tension".

I can open this .jpg photo with other programs (Gimp, Visionneur d'images).
I don't remember whether I have used (or not) Digikam with .jpg photos since
I upgraded to 1.8.0 (1.9.0 is not yet available in Fedora repositories).

Is there some settings option that can be adjusted to solve the problem, or
is that a bug?
