Hi Paolo,

If you have digiKam previous to 2.0.0-beta6  installed you could instead try 
this:
http://digikam3rdparty.free.fr/misc.tarballs/temp/digiKam-installer-2.0.0-beta6-win32.exe

First you need to remove older install completely.

If you use already latest, I gues Gilles is your best bet for an answer, you 
should see this message:
http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/digikam-users/2011-May/013199.html
