That won't work as it need to be rebuilt for Lucid in that case.

First of all Digikam 2.0 depends on the KDE 4.6.x framework and I'm not sure
if there is any release of that or PPA with it for Lucid. Then there are a
couple of other packages that should be updated too as they are pretty old
in Lucid so you get better feature support in Digikam 2.0.
