[Digikam-users] Import files from local folder

Is there any way to import files (import/rename, etc) using the import
feature, when the files are located at a local folder?

I have no problem doing this when the pictures are located in an external
USB dive or in my SD card slot. But I cannot find out how to do it when the
files already exist in the computer.
