[Digikam-users] database backup

I am using mysql as database backend. I am doing mysqldump backups and 
gzip them, but they are huge (around 1gb). I have checked and the 
biggest table is the thumbails one. Is there any problem if I don't 
backup this table? (I would backup the schema, but not the content).
