[Digikam-users] problem renaming images

Hi all, I am trying to rename images in my date based sub directories. When
I am sitting in a directory, I select all the files and click on
image/rename and when I click OK digikam returns 'Could not delete file'
and doesn't do the rename. I checked the permissions and they are
'-rw-r--r--'. Can someone please help?
