[Digikam-users] Same again: impossible to run Digikam 2.x

Digikam 2.3 came with the upgrade to Fedora 16, but I get exactly the same
problem as in August with the previous 2.x version: Digikam can only be run
once; second time the DB is always corrupted.

When I run it from console, I get this message:

libdc1394 error: Failed to initialize libdc1394
QSqlDatabasePrivate::removeDatabase: connection 'ConnectionTest' is still
in use, all queries will cease to work.
digikam(15851)/digikam (core): Schema update to V6 failed!
QPainter::begin: Widget painting can only begin as a result of a paintEvent
QPainter::translate: Painter not active
QPainter::setClipRect: Painter not active
QPainter::font: Painter not active
QPainter::setFont: Painter not active
QPainter::setPen: Painter not active

I don't know what to do. Last time, I downgraded to Digikam 1.9. I cannot
even do that, as there is no 1.9 version in Fedora 16.
I'm completely stuck.
