[Digikam-users] How to remove an album with our deleating files

I like the idea of moving the pictures between folders to "hide" them
from DK when removing the album.

However, another way can be to remove the relevant tables from the
database file directly using e.g. SQLiteman. If you're not unfamiliar
with SQL that shouldn't be too hard, I think. But anyhow, you'd probably
like to make a backup first, hence I think the first solution is
easier. 

I am a little surprised DK doesn't have this feature already, because it
should be easy to clear the relevant fields in the database? But I may
be missing something.
