[Digikam-users] Reading tags from XMP sidecar files

I have that option checked, yes. I'm aware of the problem that when you
check this option, all the "normal" exif info is temporarily unavailable.
For me this is OK, if only I can get digikam to read and commit to the
database what is in the xmp sidecar. I'm only trying to read the tags that I
created and ratings that I assigned. These fields I can't even read with the
single image read from xmp process.

BTW in the Captions and Tags sidebar, right at the bottom there is a "More"
button that you can use to read metadata from all selected images. Or
rather, I think that's what it's supposed to do, as this option also does
not work for me.
