Have You tried to switch to git:// protocol? http.// is giving 502 to
me while git:// works fine

(I seem to remember some talk that http:// is using much bigger amount
of resources at server side than git:// . Maybe the web maintainers
could update site to have git:// instead of http:// in uri's)
