[Digikam-users] How to save in 16 bits PNG

Hi Gilles

Well, my RAW (ARW from a Sony A700) are 16 bits depth. And this is what happen when I save in:

	* PNG, 8 bits depth of color
	* TIFF, 16 bits depth of color
	* JPG, 8 bits depth of color


So, in my case, is not a source bits of depth problem. Something more is happening. I noticed this when comparing two images, one exported as PNG and other in TIFF (from the same RAW source) and I saw a big noticiable difference between them.
