[Digikam-users] Error with Digikam 1.0.0: "Unable to start ksmserver"

Hi,


I would like to use Digikam to manage my collection of pictures. When
I add a pictures directory in Digikam configuration, it scan the
directory correctly (it takes 10 minutes since there iare LOT of
pictures) but when it finish scanning a xmessage messagebox appear
with the message: "Unable to start ksmserver. Check your
installation.". When I click "okay" to dismiss the messagebox Xwindows
crash and exit.???

I use Slackware 13.0 with a 2.6.32.2 kernel and KDE 4.2.4.
I compiled Digikam using those commands:

cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=relwithdebinfo -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr ..

Does anybody have a clue??
