[Digikam-users] thumnail generation error with tif photos

yes it is bug, and it could be related to this bug:

What did you do exactly ? did you import a bunch of tiff files with 
Digikam ? or did you copy the tiff files using an external tools inside 
a directory managed by Digikam ?
