[Digikam-users] Question about tagging

I assumed it was, but wasn't sure if the French use it like we do, so I said "English speakers, at least".

Funny that you suggest "née" is English, as it is, in fact, originally (and still) French.

I don't have the program here to check, but I think I noticed that when you modify a tag, it jumps to the top of the tag tree when you save it. Annoying if you're changing a lot of them. That's 1.0.0 beta5, it might have been fixed since.

I ran into a little "problem". A friend of mine married recently and
changed
her family name to the name of her husband.
How do you guys deal with that? I don't want two tags for the same person.
Do
you just extend the existing tag?

You could change the currend tag to "OldName-NewName". So you don't need a new tag but you have both names.

Which you a goot start in the new year.
