I just ran the compile again, and this time it works. Now I have v1.2.0!

I ran those commands, and they seemed to complete with no obvious problems, took only a couple of hours rather than 15 like the first time.

But when I run the new digikam.exe I just get the message "The application c:\kderoot\bin\libdigikamlib.dll is not a valid windows image". That file certainly exists and has a recent date and time. It's 48MB in size.

emerge --update digikam
emerge --update kipi-plugins

The name won't change but you'll still get the latest from svn. If you
want a particular tag then you'll need to use --target=<insert tag here>
but you'll need to check the syntax and usage on that one.
