A tag is a label applied to the source tree at various points. This
enables you to checkout a consistent set of files from those points in
the past with a (possibly) informative name. However I should have
checked before I mentioned them, digikam source does not seem to be
tagged. So instead of a tag you will need to use the revision number for
1.1.0 if you want to get that precise set of files. I believe that it
was revision 1082900.

When I say latest it is the latest development code, at least the latest
that was checked in. But calling it a version is a bit strong. As it is
not a formal release it is possible for bugs and build issues to be
present so you have to be prepared for the odd breakage to happen.

I hope so too.
