Hallo Gert,

Thanks for your kind assistance. Yes, apparently something didn't get
installed. However, if this is the case, then perhaps something is
missing in the instructions since I had followed them explicitly.

I **really* appreciate you taking the time to write a script :)   It
seems very straight-forward compared to what was on the digiKam page.
However (again, please pardon the Newbieism) what do I do about
everything that I had completed thus far? Is it safe to simply delete
the entire trunk directory and start from Ground Zero with the script?
