[Digikam-users] error "failed to process item"

Hi,

just wanted to batch-create some jpegs from dng (first time).
tools: sharpen - local contrast
digikam 1.3 on gentoo
no matter what I do (different tool order, less / other tools) I always
get this error which doesn't help me at all.
If I do the same steps manually it works without problems.

any ideas?
