[Digikam-users] How to make a new top-level album?

I don't really understand what the OP wants.

I made just now this:

mkdir ~/test-digikam
mkdir ~/test-digikam/album1
mkdir ~/test-digikam/album2

copy some photos in each album (1 & 2)

launch digikam 0.10

configure the digikam database to be in test-digikam/album1

can open the photos of album1

configure digikam database to be in album2

can open photos in album2

each database is separated as it was with old digikam. slightly longer.

I wonder if the OP noticed the configure database menu (at the bottom
of the setting, configure collections windows
