[Digikam-users] Is Album Path=/home/chris/digikam

Is the "Album Path" setting in the config file being ignored now?

I'm very confused by digikam's "root" path setting.  For some reason
(I'm sure I didn't set it) my digikamrc file has the following line in
it:-

    Album Path=/home/chris/digikam

I don't even have a directory /home/chris/digikam but digikam is still
picking up my pictures in /home/chris/pictures.  What's going on?
