[Digikam-users] 1.0.0 beta1: cannot save edited images

Hi all,

with the current svn version (which I happily realized to be called 1.0.0 
beta1 :-) ) I experience the following problem:

Whenever I edit an image and try to save it afterwards, I get an error message 
saying that overwriting the original file failed, and the changes are not 
saved. I even get this message when I try "save as ..." using a different file 
name. Writing tags into the file works fine.

Is this a known issue or shall I open a new bug report?
