[Digikam-users] Problems setting file date

I'm having problems setting the file date of images under Digikam. 

I've resized several images by creating new, resized files, which automatically 
receive today's date as the file date. The creation date is, of course, still 
present amongst the image date. I'd like to reset the date to the one on which 
the picture was taken, and I've tried to do that using the Image > Adjust time 
& date dialog > Set file date to EXIF/IPTC/XMP creation date, but somehow this 
doesn't seem to work (the file date remains unaltered).

Does someone have an idea what the problem is?
