[Digikam-users] Importing from Canon camera

I have now 'upgraded' my DK from ver. 0.11.0 to 0.10.0 ;-) on Ubuntu 9.04.

I appear to have lost the ability to import images from my Canon 50D.

Since the 50D is not shown on the camera list I have added it as a 'USB/PTP
Class' but the camera is not 'auto-detected' 

Is there a work-around for this?
