Hi,
in manual "Digital Asset Management (DAM) with digiKam" autor wrote:
"Segregation of original and working files makes it easier to allocate the
backup strategy and migration. You will always know if you look for an
original or a derivative." But how to do with digiKam??

I always have photos in 3 basic layers, represeted by directories with more
or less internal substructure.
1. Archive (original data)
2. Working files.
3. Final images.

I didn't find any tool which allow me select some set of images and copy
them from archive to working dir, to clone image to several copies in same
dir as an initial step to several versions of photograph. And I don't
mention that I want to clone metadata with copying. I didn't even find how
to browse fullscreen through input directory and select files (good one -
keep/bad one - delete) and after browsing review this selection and then
delete (that means how to separate marking - selection from action -
deleting and insert reviewing in between). Those action are in nutshell of
photo management for me. All photo editing is more or less bonus.

Can someone tell me how to mark and copy images in digiKam? Thanks
