[Digikam-users] integration with gimp

I had to edit a picture with gimp (needed the patch tool) so opend a
picture with gimp within digikam, cloned the original and once edited
saved in the same path as the original. The problem is the new picture
didn't show up in digikam until I close and restart digikam. Is that
normal or does it happen because I'm using gnome?
