[Digikam-users] Can't digiKam support the creation of the directory using the date of photo

Hi, All

First I would like to thanks the great work of digiKam team.  I can
use digiKam to work with my Canon 80 digiCamera. But I am a fresher to
the digiKam

As you know, every digicamera has its own tools for Windows to
download the photos from camera. for example, my Canon 80's software
can get the those latest photos to my PC and can create the directory
automatically to store the photo. The rule it create directory is the
date of every photo.

What I want to know whether digiKam also has this feature. I noticed
that digiKam give  us the freedom to point to a specific location as
my album. but the downloaded photos are put into the same directory
without creating the directory according to the date of creation of
the photo.
