[Digikam-users] Rotation of RAWs

Hello,

when I try to rotate a RAW (in my case it's an ORF), I get an error
message.
My camera Olympus E-1 does not set the orientation tag.

My question:
Can DigiKam interprete the orientation tag and show such a RAW in the
correct orientation?
If so: what do you think about the idea that DigiKam edits the
orientation tag if the user performs the command "rotate..." on a RAW?
